Piero Visconti

Instructor and Founder

Piero Visconti is a lifelong enthusiast of nature, wilderness living, and traditional outdoor skills. Raised in the Italian countryside between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Alps, he developed a deep connection to the natural world while learning bushcraft, woodcraft, and practical outdoor skills from his grandfather.

Over the years, this passion evolved into a way of life, leading him to relocate to Norway in 2016—a country that offered endless opportunities for wilderness exploration and self-reliance. In 2021, Piero launched his YouTube channel, PVOutdoors, where he documents his adventures, bushcraft projects, and expeditions throughout Scandinavia.

In 2024, Piero began the Instructor Program at the renowned Pathfinder School in Ohio, USA. Since then, he has successfully completed advanced survival training and continues his journey toward earning the prestigious Pathfinder Instructor Patch. He also assists with Pathfinder training programs internationally, helping students develop practical wilderness skills in a variety of environments.

Committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety in remote environments, Piero is certified in NOLS Wilderness First Aid (WFA), providing him with the knowledge and skills to assess, manage, and respond to medical emergencies in wilderness and expedition settings.

Today, Piero is the founder and lead instructor of Primal Norway, where he combines traditional bushcraft, modern survival skills, wilderness education, and a deep respect for nature to create meaningful outdoor experiences for students from around the world.
